Mompha, real name Ismaila Mustapha has reacted to the arrest of his former friend, Ray Hushpuppi. Hushpuppi was rounded up together with his friend who for money laundering and high-profile fraud in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.
Although Mompha and Hushpuppi are no longer friends following their spat on social media some time ago, he still offered his solidarity to him while Hushpuppi undergoes this trying period in his life.
He advised people not to celebrate one’s shortcomings as no one knows tomorrow by writing: “Never mock anyone who is facing a trail case cos you don’t know tomorrow. For those who are worried about me am safe and sound. No shaking, God never disappoint his own” he wrote.
