A Prolific and Passionate Producer

Turen was a productive and enthusiastic producer who worked in a wide range of genres and forms. He began his career as an assistant to producer Scott Rudin before co-founding Before the Door Pictures with actor Zachary Quinto and producer Neal Dodson.

Margin Call, All Is Lost, A Most Violent Year, and The Invitation are among the films he produced under this banner. Turen has also worked on multiple projects with filmmaker Sam Levinson, including the HBO series Euphoria, starring Zendaya, and the Netflix film Malcolm & Marie, starring Zendaya and John David Washington.
